Fiji-Australia relations will reach to greater heights through the recent visit to Fiji by the Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Women, Senator Marise Payne. This has been the first visit by Minister Payne to Fiji, after being reappointed as the Minister for Foreign Affairs, following the recent elections in Australia.
During the visit, Minister Payne met with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security, Inia Seruiratu at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters. A bilateral meeting was also held to discuss the key areas of cooperation that recognizes the renewed commitment of the two nations to strengthen the 'Fiji-Australia Vuvale Partnership.'
